Location: Embrun, Ontario
Start Date: May 11, 2026
Position Type: 3-year contract
Schedule: 35 hours per week
Salary: $60,000 per year
Vacation: 15 days per year

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and versatile Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer in the day-to-day operations of the organization.

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing administrative, operational, documentary, and regulatory support, while also assisting the team with customer calls,
billing-related matters, and internal follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the CEO with daily operational tasks and follow-ups.
  • Manage, organize, and maintain administrative and regulatory documents, including
    those related to O. Reg. 22/04.
  • Prepare, verify, and follow up on customer and contractor invoices.
  • Track payments, accounts receivable, and collections.
  • Assist the team with customer calls and billing-related inquiries.
  • Review new OEB regulations, directives, and updates, and summarize key points
    for management.
  • Collect, compile, and verify electricity consumption data in kWh
  • Prepare certain journal entries as required.
  • Contribute to the organization and improvement of administrative and operational
    processes.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Professionalism, discretion, and autonomy
  • Comfortable working with data, documentation, and administrative follow-up
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

 

Qualification

  • Diploma or training in administration, office management, accounting, business, or
    a related field
  • Relevant experience in a similar position
  • Experience with invoicing, payment follow-up, customer service, and administrative
    support
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Knowledge of the energy sector, the OEB, or O. Reg. 22/04 is considered a strong
    asset
  • Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset
